TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- To meet patient demand for secure, efficient, electronic communication and remain competitive, Front Range Center for Brain and Spine located in Fort Collins, Colorado, and NaturoMedica in Sammamish, Washington, were among the first practices nationwide to implement the newly released Intergy Practice Portal by Sage Software.

Intergy Practice Portal, developed in partnership with Kryptiq Corporation, is a secure online system that enables practices to provide an online "face" to their patients, giving patients and practices improved ways to communicate. Unlike other portals, Intergy Practice Portal is fully integrated with the Intergy by Sage suite of solutions. CA concludes stock options probe, finalizes results

The troubled systems management and security software company was originally due to release final fourth-quarter and full fiscal 2006 results in late May, but twice delayed the process as it uncovered more issues.

"Filing our Form 10-K closes our fiscal year 2006 and enables us to concentrate on moving forward," John Swainson, CA CEO, said in a statement. In recent conference calls about the vendor's financials, Swainson has been keen to distinguish CA's past from its present and likely future operations.

The restating of results centered around three areas -- stock options prior to fiscal 2002, additional subscription revenue relating to the early renewal of some customer contracts, and extra sales commission expense that should have been recorded in results for the third quarter of fiscal 2006.

Millions of DHA money unaccountable

DALLAS - A recent audit has found that millions of taxpayer dollars are unaccounted for inside the Dallas Housing Authority.

The audit found the books so disorganized and mismanaged that nearly $4 million aren't accounted for.

The DHA oversees 16,000 families with rental vouchers. When a family who already has a voucher moves to Dallas, the DHA gets reimbursed from the city from where the tenant came from. However, the DHA's recordkeeping in tracking the portable vouchers in 2005 and 2006 were found to be sloppy.

"I am concerned about the findings in this report and I've taken the necessary steps to address the problems," said Ann Lott, DHA president and CEO.

The audit concluded that DHA tried to account for vouchers with "inaccurate, unreliable and altered records," and then billed HUD for $3.7 million that's unaccounted for and HUD now wants back.
